Supercar Weekend
Supercar Weekend Palm Beach is unique car event, started in 2005 by John Temerian and Donald J. Trump among others. Held annually on West Palm Beach’s Waterfront supercar owners from around the world, exotic car connaisseurs, and enthusiasts come together to experience a broad palette of the finest things that the world of supercars has to offer. Due to the major success this event has experiences, the experience is brought to new locations, including New Orleans’ Decater Street and the Hamptons. All in all, a feast for the eye for any car lover.
After having used their previous designs for three years, I was approached in the Fall of 2007 to develop a new, lasting design that would represent the event perfectly, in all its facets. The colorful flag represents the vast variety of experiences the event has to offer to its visitors. While retaining a close resemblance to the finish flag, seen in car races. The sleek typography balances the design, with its thin strokes and interesting ‘C-A’ ligature. Part of a very strong marketing strategy, this design has been featured on tickets, apparel, and even TV coverage.
